Elyse earned her Master of Social Work degree with a Certification in Gerontology in 2007 from Michigan State University, building upon her Bachelor Degree of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University.
Elyse’s passion for the elder population started as a child, spending a lot of time with her grandparents. This passion grew working as a Resident Care Assistant at an assisted living facility while working toward her degrees. Prior to joining Mannor Law Group, Elyse spent 14 years as a Social Worker in rehab/long term care settings. While wearing many hats as a Social Worker in a skilled nursing environment, Elyse found the most rewarding one to be advocating for older adults and their families while helping them navigate the complex medical systems. Given Elyse’s experiences, she recognizes the importance of proactive planning and is happy to be a part of the Manor Law Group.
In her free time, Elyse enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
